Cris Ferrantini

She was an actress, studied Contemporary Theater, Interpretation Techniques for Theater and TV and Acting for Cinema. She studied with Fátima Toledo and GRUPO TAPA and dedicated himself to the performing arts for 23 years. She was part of GRUPO SENSUS, under the direction of Thereza Piffer in sensory performances. She worked as a lifemodel since 1998 at the main Design Universities in Brazil, São Paulo, adding to her work her expressive-bodily experience.

On TV she participated in several advertising campaigns, such as Perfume Bizarre (1991) and Monange (1991), Adoçante Finn (1998, 2000 and 2001), Mc'Donnalds (1999), Smirnoff (2005). She also participated in some telenovelas of SBT, Rede TV and was presenter of TV Primeiramão (1999 to 2000) and NEW NET SHOW (1997) of CNT Gazeta.

In Cinema, she acted in short films such as DeZencontros (2003), Intimidades (2001), Rewind (2001), Acaso (2001), Camarim (1995), What Ended Up Taking the Mixed Sauna Girl (1994) and Rio de Janeiro - Minas (1991).

At the Theater she acted in Kínesis (2010), Purificado (2002), Prá lá de Pirandelo (1991) and Marido machão só dá confusão (1991).

As a performer, she performed METAMORPHOSIS - Corpo em Transformações (2014, his last work) and CAOS (2011), both as a performative lifemodel. She was also an actress at Cia. Do Bafafá where she did business interventions, events, parties, animated telegrams and, her most famous characters, Cat Woman and Lisa Minelli.

Cris was photographed by great photographers, teachers and students of the photography course, such as Guilherme Lechat, Patrícia Gatto, Ricardo Hantzschel, Francisco Folco, Flávio Sampaio and many others. She worked for 16 years as a photographic lifemodel at the Panamerican School of Arts and Design and for 12 years at Senac Lapa and Jurubatuba.

In 2002, she met Juliano Hollivier through a mutual friend in the play Purificado, but it was only in 2008 that they began their partnership as performative lifemodels. Together they performed several jobs involving poetry and the artistic nude exhibition. They traveled together to some cities in Brazil, with the performance METAMORPHOSIS invited by SESC. Together, in 2014, they started the Postgraduate Course in Klauss Vianna Technique, at Pontific Catolic University, in São Paulo, with the purpose of expanding their somatic knowledge to reflect on the work that would become a lifemodel´s school. That was when in July of the same year, Cristina was diagnosed with acute leukemia, interrupting her studies and work due to a very strong chemotherapy treatment. In June 2015 she was presented with the anonymous donation of a compatible bone marrow and underwent the transplant at the Samaritano Hospital. The treatment continued and the disease was practically cured when in February 2016 there was a re-incidence and on March 3 of the same year she died.

Cris left many good memories and longings for her friends, husband, mother and her stage partner, who today resumes the project they started in 2013 about the opening of the first Lifemodel´s Training School in Brazil. She was known as a beautiful person, outside and inside. Very sweet and with very bright blue eyes, she captivated any observer with her cat-like air, but with a soft voice and girlishness.

Maria Cristina Ferrantini (November 9, 1970 - March 3, 2016), always helped friends, with words and actions, practiced charities with abandoned animal care institutions and had a great love for animals. She had a heart of gold, she was an exemplary friend and daughter. Her tomboy style set fire on TV in the 90's, while shaving the head in a national advertising campaign, at a time when everything was new. She became a strong woman, who was able to fight bravely for life in her nearly 2 years of cancer. She never lost her faith, until the last moment of life she believed was going to win. And won!

This website and school are references that everything she planted in life can be shared with all those who come to the school looking for something about themselves. The love and affection she dedicated to her work and all the personal relationships she had, will be shared by her soul brother, as Juliano Hollivier called him. Cris said that whenever she was unable to talk about anything, she just had to listen to his soul brother, because that was how she considered him and trusted his thoughts.

CASA CORPO2 - Lifemodel's School, Art & Reference is undoubtedly a fruit of this love for life and art that Cristina Ferrantini and Juliano Hollivier shared for so many years. She will be led by her brother of choice, who will always raise her image and professional posture in the first instance.
